Went to the opening of the new bar/restaurant, Drakes. The bar looks great, I love the outside patio and bar. The staff were great, very attentive, and the food was excellent! I'd definitely recommend stopping in for a drink and some great food, I will definitely stop again when I'm in the area, well worth it. This would make a great stop on a fall drive, the scenery is gorgeous.
Nice, clean and comfortable rooms, good prices and friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff. The bar may pull it down some if they keep live music and serve greasy food!
The bartender was very prompt with drinks! The girls and I were surprised to find a bar or out back. It was pretty cool just sitting out there relaxing and catching up. We all had a great time!
The place was excellant from the start.Very clean,friendly and above all welcoming to us. After reading some of the reviews i admit ,I was slightly sceptical,but decided to go ahead and see for myself, anyways,and I am so glad that i did so.The entire place was spotless,and so welcoming.The weekend continental style breakfast was also ,just right. Both myself and my husband thorough;ly enjoyed our stay here,and normally I dont write reviews,but in this case,the motel was just too good to leave without one. I know some people complained in reviews about the train noise,but come on people,it wasnt all the time,and it didnt bother us one bit,we slept right thru the night trains.which incidentaly pass in a short while. Overall,I would reccomend this place to stay,as it was ideal,good value and most importantly,very clean and fresh.A 5 star rating from me !!
The place is under new ownership and is getting a complete renovation and will soon open its doors. The attached restaurant has also gone through a complete renovation and will hold a weekend of festivities for the grand opening on June 6th, 7th and 8th 2025. Top tier all the way, and big changes.
In all honesty this place should be 10/5 stars. Got locked out of our room early and the front desk staff was so kind to help us and also (without even asking!) gave us late check out. This place smells good?! Unsure why there is so much hate on the smell. Ya like eggs? Ya like the smell- simple as that. Really appreciated their dog friendly policy and we weren’t even charged for the second dog!! Comfy beds. Soap. Towels. Desk. Bible. What more does one need for a perfect night? ALSO the proximity to Love It Boutique was primmmmeeee. we could hear the train rumbling by all night and it rocked me to sleep like a baby. sad to leave, but excited for next time Thank you Mill Stone Manor motel for the best night ever!!!!!!!!!!
Is a great place to stay especially when you need a bed for the night specialty when you're passing through I haven't been here to sleep in a hotel I was across the road looking at lawn mowers when I took these pictures. Go check it out for yourself and you'll like it.
Went to Mill Stone Manor tonight for the first time. Great food served hot: had wings (kickin ranch are pretty kickin), love the house made waffle chips! Recommended the flat iron steak. Service was great, constantly kept the drinks refilled. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Love the design of the bar area and bar stools. I would recommend giving this place a try if you are passing through or a local looking for something new close to home. Menu consists of traditional bar food at great prices. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Bring your appetite!
